Help with Moving!
The Crisis Pregnancy Center on Edgebrook is moving to a new location on February 1, 2007. To get ready for that move there are things that need to be done at the new and old locations to accomplish the move. Here is a list of things that need to get done! If you can help with any of these items, please contact KHRISTEY, the CPC Director.
Let's get this job done for this wonderful organization!
We have to be in our new facility by February 1st. We will need
to be as close to finished by then as we can so this work list needs to
be done in January. These things can be done during the
day/evening or weekends. We need help with:
- Tile person needed to tile the area under the reception desk and the counseling rooms.
- A/C person to come and install vents and return air in the new counseling rooms.
- Someone to take down the mirrors that are attached to the walls throughout the place.
- Tear out the receptionist area and put in 2 cabinets and new
counter top.
- Put shelving up in different offices throughout the CPC.
Some large and some small.
- We will need a LOT of shelving put up. Some we already have that
can be taken down and moved to the new place.
- Attach TV/VCR on a mounting in the waiting room. *We already have
this at our current location but need to take it down and install at
the new place
- Paint and texture the new walls that will be up.
- Need experienced person to match texture that is already on the
walls.
- Put in mail box outside the door.
- Sand and refinish the front doors.
- Install more sturdy heavy duty stairs for attic (remove current
ones) and install larger attic door entrance. (We will need to be
able to get baby beds and large items up there
- The last weekend of January we need a small cleaning crew to help
us clean the floors at the new location so they will be ready for the
furniture to come in.
- Experienced phone person to come in and put our system in and hook up lines. *We need this person to run networking telephone cable to approx. 5 phones and computers. This is REALLY important so taht we can answer our phones when we open up in Feb! Every day we are without a phone we will miss approximately 20 phone calls of girls needing our help.
