By far, the most valuable contribution you can make is to pray specifically for the Community Pregnancy Center of Pasadena.
Pray for strength, boldness, encouragement, wisdom and protection of the health and welfare of the volunteers and staff of the CPC and their families. They are on the front lines of a battlefield where the enemy wants to take them out. They are taking ground, saving lives, saving souls, healing hurts and setting people free with the truth of God’s work. They need your prayers to continue their battle and be victorious.
The CPC needs a prayer chain. People with a heart and a strong desire to see God move in the situations that the counselors face everyday. Perhaps God is calling you to be prayer warrior for the CPC! Be specific! Know the needs of the Center and pray for one or several of these needs as the Spirit leads you.
Get to know one or more volunteers or staff members and ask them how you can pray for them specifically. Pray for the clients that God will draw them and that they will make decisions to follow His plans for them and their baby. Pray that God will show you anything you can do to help - and that He will tell you what to pray specifically.
Be persistent! Pray regularly, daily either at a scheduled time or at least once during the day. When your prayers are answered, give thanks and praise to God. Tell others what He has done and how good He is. Listen to what God may be telling you. He may tell you how to pray, some action to take, or He may put some specific person on your heart.
When you know He is speaking to you, be obedient immediately and cheerfully. You will never regret it. God has given you talents and gifts in order that you can be a blessing to others. He has put the CPC on your heart and He may be calling you to participate into this ministry.
