  Know the FACTS

Are there risks with an abortion?  Is it safe?

An abortion is a medical procedure and as with any medical procedure, there are risks. Sometimes even death can occur. Just recently, there have been studies done linking abortion to breast cancer.

Isn't my baby just a clump of cells in the beginning?

At 3 weeks, a baby's heart starts beating; at 6 weeks brain waves are present; at 8 weeks fingerprints have formed; at 9 weeks the unborn baby can feel pain; at 11 weeks the baby can make a fist with its fingers; at 17 weeks a mother can feel her baby moving in the womb; at 23 weeks a baby can be born and with the appropriate medical attention, can survive.

Can anyone force me to abort?

By law, no one can force you to abort your child.
